Topic 5 – Session 5 – Big Civilization
It was several centuries long and marked by periods of revival. By the 1800’s it was nicknamed “the sick man of Europe”. By the end of World War One, it was finished.
It had stagnated in development (both in culture and technology) while Europe improved. This was the chief reason for its decline and fall.
