1) Central Asian Migrations

Topic 1 – Session 4 – The Ancient Centuries

Two thousand years before the barbarian invasions brought down the Roman Empire, population growth in the central regions of Asia caused mass migrations into the civilized countries in the east, south, and west. Even faraway Egypt in Africa was invaded. From the civilization’s perspective, this period is called “the Bronze Age Collapse.”
