By Lifetime

This series of courses cover world history one lifetime at a time. For us, the decades before our own is history. For the people who lived during those years, those times were current affairs. The people we regard as figures out of history books were people that contemporaries heard about, read about, or even met. Each course in the series covers seven decades of world events.

The Courses

7 Big Decades
The 7 Biggest Colonizing Decades 1595 to 1665
France’s 7 Biggest Decades 1665 to 1735
7 Big Decades of Enlightenment and Revolution 1735 to 1805
Europe’s 7 Big Decades 1805 to 1875
7 Decades of Biggest Change 1875 to 1945
The 7 Most Recent Decades 1945 to 2015

Six courses covering the most intense four centuries of human activity.  For world history before these see the centuries series.
